The 132 art activities in this book are intended for teachers, parents and other caregivers to use with pre-school, Grade R and Year one to two children in pre-schools, schools and home-based groups.

These art activities are an ideal supplement to the themes in the Pre-school Themes manuals.

Most of the activities in this book are suitable for the three- to six-year-olds, but some are more suited to the older age group of children between four and six years old, who have some cutting skills. This is indicated in each lesson. All the activities are ideal for Grade R children and six- to-seven-year-olds too. The activities do not need any expertise or qualifications to be implemented.
